The spacious Johnson City photography studio offers privacy, professional lighting, solid-colored backdrops, vintage furniture, and a large collection of props. Studio sessions provide a comfortable, controlled setting without concerns about weather, temperature, or changing outdoor light.

If you prefer a natural setting, Chloe offers outdoor portrait sessions throughout Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol. Bristol, Jonesborough, and surrounding Tri-Cities communities. Together, you can select a location and setting that complement your personality, preferred style, and the time of year.

Both studio and outdoor maternity sessions include posing guidance and access to Chloe’s client closet of approximately 50 maternity outfits in a variety of colors, styles, and sizes.

When is the best time to schedule a maternity photography session?

There is no single stage of pregnancy that is right for everyone. Some clients prefer to schedule their session later in pregnancy when their baby bump is larger and more pronounced, while others prefer portraits taken earlier with a smaller bump. Chloe can help you choose a timeframe based on how far along you would like to appear in your photographs.

Can I choose between a studio and an outdoor maternity session?

Yes. Maternity sessions may be held at Chloe’s spacious studio in downtown Johnson City or at an outdoor location in the Tri-Cities. Studio sessions offer privacy, professional lighting, backdrops, vintage furniture, and props. Outdoor sessions provide natural scenery and seasonal variety.

Does every maternity session include access to the client closet?

Yes. Every maternity session includes access to Chloe’s client closet, which contains approximately 50 maternity outfits in a variety of colors, styles, and sizes.

Can I use an outfit from the maternity client closet for a session away from the studio?

Yes. Clients may wear outfits from the maternity client closet during outdoor and other off-site sessions. To protect the clothing, client-closet outfits cannot be worn in water, mud, or locations where they are likely to become heavily soiled or damaged.

Where are outdoor maternity sessions available?

Chloe photographs outdoor maternity sessions throughout Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol, Jonesborough, and surrounding Tri-Cities communities. The locations included depend on the package selected, with extended travel options available through the Premium Session.

What happens if bad weather affects an outdoor maternity session?

If rain or severe weather makes an outdoor session unsafe or unsuitable for photographs, Chloe will reschedule the session for another available date.

Will Chloe help me pose during my maternity session?

Yes. Chloe provides posing guidance throughout the session to help you feel comfortable and create flattering photographs. You do not need previous modeling experience or need to arrive knowing how to pose.

How many edited photographs are included with a maternity session?

The Essential Session includes 12 edited digital photographs, the Signature Session includes 16, and the Premium Session includes 20. Clients receive an online proof gallery and select their favorite photographs for professional editing.
